In January, St. John's sent $5,000 to Heifer Project International to "fill the ark," a project that began in July, 2001, with our annual "Loaves and Fishes Sunday." When our contributions on that day totaled well beyond the $500 needed to buy a heifer, we decided to try to fill an ark instead. For more information about Heifer Project, visit < www.heifer.org >.
