Keep up with St. John's events! Sign up to receive our occasional e-News
At St. John's we celebrate the Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 8:00 a.m.
and 10:00 a.m. -- Nursery Care is offered at 10, and our celebration
continues in the Undercroft (Episcopalianese for "downstairs") or
Parish Hall with coffee hour and fellowship! We gather Wednesdays at
Noon in the chapel (again: In the Undercroft) for Holy Eucharist. Morning Prayer, the tradition of
monasteries, convents, cathedrals, seminaries, and parishes, is said
Monday through Thursday at 9:00 a.m. in the choir.

St. John's is accessible for people with mobility impairments: A small
parking lot in back
(north side of church, alleyway off Maple or Locust) gives way to a
level entrance into the church, where an elevator takes you up to the
church or down to "The Undercroft" where we gather for coffee and
refreshments. We are also happy to provide large-print service
bulletins!
Office hours: Monday -
Thursday, 9 am to
Noon, or by appointment
Mission:
St. John's Episcopal Church, with God's help and in the Anglican
tradition, lives to proclaim the Gospel of Christ by ministering through
worship, outreach, fellowship, and education. We welcome all who enter
our doors, and we support the diverse callings of each member as we seek
to serve Christ in every person.
Vision:
St. John's Episcopal Church, with the help of the Holy Spirit, will be a
dynamic fellowship of Christians seeking greater understanding of faith
and service through programs of spiritual growth, education, and the
arts.
Support:
At St. John's
we heartily endorse shopping locally -- our farmers' market instead of a
big box store, The Book Garden and other downtown shops instead of B&N -- but if you can't find what you're
looking for, shop at Amazon.com and generate income to support the ministries
of St. John's!
Simply click on the button! When you
arrive at our "What we're reading" page, simply click on the "Powered by
Amazon.com" button at the upper right.

Evangelize,
support our outreach ministries, and have fun! Wear, drink from, or
carry a St.
John's item from our new Cafe Press shop and tell the world: We
celebrate thoughtful theology with traditional worship!
And we've been doing it for 125 years!
