special invitation to the community at Central Michigan University.

We’ve recently starting sending out the St. John’s e-News, highlighting
the coming week’s events and worship, offering a spiritual reflection,
and reminding us all of upcoming events. If you would like to receive
the e-News, please let
us know by sending an e-mail to the Rector:

At St. John's we celebrate the Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 8:00am (Rite
1, Traditional Language) and 10:00am (Choral Eucharist, Rite 2,
Contemporary Language).
Nursery care is offered at 10, Sunday School nearly every Sunday at 10,
and our celebration continues downstairs
with coffee hour and fellowship! We gather Wednesdays at noon in the
chapel for Holy Eucharist followed by Bible study -- bring your brown
bag lunch and you'll be finished
in time to get back to work only a few minutes late! Morning Prayer, the
tradition of monasteries, convents, cathedrals, seminaries, and
parishes, is said Monday through Friday at 9:00am in the choir.
We move to our summer schedule on Sunday,
May 25th, with one combined service of Holy
Eucharist at 9:00 am.

St. John's is accessible for people with mobility impairments: A small
parking lot in back
(north side of church, alleyway off Maple or Locust) gives way to a
level entrance into the church, where an elevator takes you up to the
church or down to "The Undercroft" where we gather for coffee and
refreshments.
Office hours: Monday -
Thursday, 9 am to
Noon, or by appointment
Mission:
St. John's Episcopal Church, with God's help and in the Anglican
tradition, lives to proclaim the Gospel of Christ by ministering through
worship, outreach, fellowship, and education. We welcome all who enter
our doors, and we support the diverse callings of each member as we seek
to serve Christ in every person.
Vision:
St. John's Episcopal Church, with the help of the Holy Spirit, will be a
dynamic fellowship of Christians seeking greater understanding of faith
and service through programs of spiritual growth, education, and the
arts.
